International transport and logistics company AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Bulgarian branch will play a key role in AsstrA’s strategic development plan for the region.
The new office launched operations on May, 2022. The AsstrA Bulgaria team provides transportation and logistics services to customers mainly from the metallurgy, wood and paper, agricultural, fresh food, and oil and gas industries.
“Our new office offers clients customized, superior-quality services supporting transportation, logistics, customs compliance and documentation, and supply chain management. After executing a number of projects for customers in Bulgaria with the support of our international network of offices, we have decided to open a site in Sofia dedicated to this market,” highlights Julia Gorbaczuk, Head of AsstrA’s Southeastern Europe Division.
“The majority of Bulgarian imports are related to agri-food production – for example wine, preserves, seasonal fruit and vegetables – as well as the manufacture of steel, copper, and industrial machinery. As the country’s economy continues to develop, Bulgarian companies increasingly require logistics support. We have opened our Sofia office to serve them better. We offer both FTL and groupage transport to and from Bulgaria,” adds Kiril Zahariev, AsstrA Bulgaria Branch Manager.
