The number of cars in the world is growing rapidly every year. Global industry sales amounted to 75 million vehicles in 2019. “CMR insurance for such a shipment does not cover damage that occurs during loading or unloading. CMR insurance is limited to 8.33 SDR per 1 kg gross. It is insufficient for luxury cars, since the weight of the car is 1,200-2,500 kg, and the cost varies from 60 to 600 thousand euros. Therefore, it is important to take out “all risks” insurance for such transportation.”
